Yi Chart release notes

Website and extension 0.7.2 · October 16, 2026

The AI handoff now starts with your question and asks for a relevant judgment with supporting evidence. It no longer requires a fixed set of headings or a glossary for every answer.

• Qi Men lists each palace separately, distinguishing heaven stems, earth stems and the Tian Qin lodged stem. An index identifies the chief star, deity and door, plus day/hour stem locations.
• Liu Yao labels each line’s polarity, moving/static state, self/responding role, kin and hidden line. Changed-line fields are supplied only for moving lines.
• Meihua explicitly identifies the original body/use trigrams, moving line and the roles of the original, mutual and resulting hexagrams.
• BaZi puts the four pillars first; luck periods and annual pillars remain in an appendix for questions where they are relevant.

These changes apply to all three interface languages. Calculation rules, saved charts, existing interpretations and permissions are unchanged. AI answers can still misread a chart or make unsupported inferences; check their evidence.

The website uses the new handoff. Extension 0.7.2 is available as a manual download. Store updates require review; if the store still shows 0.7.1, wait for the browser update or use the manual installation option.

Extension 0.7.1 · October 15, 2026

Simplified localized store summaries and descriptions without changing features, permissions, data handling or calculation rules. Public availability was confirmed on October 16.

Website · October 15, 2026

The website supports Liu Yao, Meihua, BaZi and the documented Qi Men method. Charts can be kept on this device or explicitly saved to a signed-in account as private records. Account saves exclude the question and AI interpretation.

The website prepares readable material for you to inspect, copy and send. It does not directly call an AI provider or retrieve its response.

Extension 0.7.0 · October 14, 2026

Added readable chart previews, text copying and PNG export. Questions, notes, dates and AI replies are excluded by default and can be included explicitly. Full JSON export remains separate. The store metadata was later revised in 0.7.1.

Installation

Use the Chrome Web Store or the manual installation guide. Check the installed version in the browser’s extension manager; store and manual packages update separately.
